Why do I need my own water distiller?
The presence of other ions commonly found in tap water can shorten the life of things such as your car battery. Distilled water is preferable to use when topping up your lead acid car battery.
It is also the preferred choice for use in automotive cooling systems as the ions and minerals found in your average tap water can be corrosive to a cars internal engine components.
Almost all mechanical devices that need water can benefit from the use of distilled water. We have had all sorts of enquiries for using distilled water including customers with model train sets and fish tank owners.
