The Distilled Water Company was established in 2009 as an offshoot of The Water Delivery Company - London's leading supplier of bottled spring water and water coolers.
We sell distilled water to businesses and homes across the UK. Within London distilled water is delivered within our established delivery network - and outside London we sell a range of one trip bottles and bag in box options for customers which are delivered by courier on a daily basis.
We have a network of local dealers where customers can collect water if required and can also deliver water in bulk by container where required. Please contact us by calling 0845 006 3309 or emailing contact@thedistilledwatercompany.com.

For some, including some of us here at your favourite
distilled water company, the thought of discovering more about icicles and other forms of frozen water, is what gets them up in the morning. The prospect of each new day bringing further information that scientists have spent days, months, even years, researching is almost too much too handle. So, dear reader, this week we thought, what with there being so many icicle fans out there in the world, we’d bring you a little blog that combined these frozen wonders with our other passion: distilled water.
A team of
Canadian scientists have recently been researching what exactly it is that makes icicles ‘grow’ in different shapes, putting to rest the notion that they are always in fact exactly the same. Using a controlled environment to let them develop, various factors were altered, such as the water quality, in order to discover what differences would occur. It soon became apparent that those icicles grown using
distilled water were much more likely to be perfectly conical, whilst those made with tap water were more susceptible to having lumps and bumps attached to their shape.
If you’re thinking of making your own icicles, it seems there is nothing better than some good old distilled water to create them, why not get in touch and one of our team will be on hand to give you more information about our deliveries and our service. Or, would like to share some more of your frozen water knowledge with us, please do leave a comment at the bottom of our blog.
AboutUs is wiki based site and the page basically sums up our company and what we do, so that lovely people like you can read all about it, whenever you please.

Since we began the distilled water blog, we have strived to find new and interesting uses for distilled water, that we can then impart to you, dear reader, so that you may in turn share the wisdom with all your friends, family, neighbours, the milkman, and any other purified liquids enthusiasts that you may come across. This week, we’ve discovered something intriguing; a blog in which one credenza owner was struggling to find a way to rid the furniture of a tar smell, which was present when the piece was purchased. A simple method of wiping the surface with a solution of trisodium phosphate and tepid water (possibly several times, although this should not be done on old or antique furniture), and then completing the procedure by wiping it with a clean cloth barely dampened with distilled water, was suggested by a senior furniture conserver by the name of Don Williams. Jolly good idea, Don, say we.
We would like to stress that before you douse any of your valuable furniture or other household items in any chemical, or even distilled water, it is sensible to seek advice from experts/read any labels carefully as to the suitability of this method in your particular case, to prevent any irreversible damage. If you’d like to share any other distilled water use wisdom with us and our readers, please do get in touch or leave a comment at the bottom of our blog- we always love to hear from you!
